Details can be debated ... but you don’t have to. I would still just leave out the planned tall cabinets there at the partition wall, plan nothing there but a pinboard or a nice picture, and place the tall cabinets on the wall to the pantry. If only because of the shorter paths to the island, not around the island. Sigh, I still prefer to see the kitchen by the barbecue area! In the children's bathroom, you could swap the toilet and shower... The laundry room is great, isn’t it?

Hi Yvonne,

We don’t need tall cabinets on this partition wall either. My wife is considering a dining area. Otherwise, really leave it open. No one needs that many cabinets. I’ll tell the architect tomorrow to draw it differently.

I also plan to swap things in the children's bathroom. It was recommended a few days ago and I think it’s a good idea. But it hasn’t been drawn in yet.

Don’t the corners in the kitchen and the study room to the pantry bother you?

I will have the light shaft on the terrace removed. I think something like that belongs on the side.

The corner above the lower kitchen door and the corner below the right wall of the study.

There is also not enough space for the tall cabinets on the right in the kitchen. The kitchen island is only 80cm wide and the space between the island and the tall cabinet would be less than 1m. I would rather leave out the tall cabinets and widen the island to 1m and widen the passage on the left to at least 110cm. You have enough space for cabinets in the huge kitchen anyway.

Best regards
Sabine

Not the corner in the office at all, on the contrary - an accentuated wall with a picture or a dresser fits into the niche there.

For the kitchen, I would probably make the wall straight down to the bottom. The gap next to the entrance door could be covered, a key cabinet installed, or a cable duct built there.

Best regards in brief
