kaho674, I have now looked at your drafts. I think the last draft is the best. However, we have to see if it is feasible in terms of area.
I was able to deduce the dimensions of the building planned so far from the second last floor plan draft (I hope correctly). That would be 13.45m in width and 9.75m in depth. In your draft, we would have 13.80m in width and 11.45m in depth (158m² floor area). If you then trim it to the correct size, I believe the positive aspects of this draft will no longer remain.
In any case, I will keep it. And it is once again an inspiration for me to do without the pantry in its current form. Access from the garage to the house yes - as you planned - but the kitchen on the other side, where I actually always wanted it... we’ll see!
Without having read the last 2 pages now and without flipping back to the floor plans either, I will just mention that yesterday I thought that you could easily cut one meter off on the left and right of the house without any losses.
While fulfilling the area requirements that we defined for the individual rooms?
So if that is feasible, then only with a completely new draft. It won’t work alone with the staircase positioned crosswise. I find this assessment very harsh. I really wouldn’t know how that should work? Just the upper floor? 2 children's rooms with 16-17m² each, bedroom 15m², dressing room 9m², bathroom can be made 12m² for all I care, utility room 6m², children’s bathroom reduced to 7m²...... or what else should be reduced to save a full 2 meters in width? That is easily 20m² less per floor.
