There would have to be a glass surface missing on the right side within the width of the staircase where the stair descent would go and where there was previously railing cladding. Or not?

No, there would be the area you need to even get to the stairs in the first place. So the starting run, which here should not be less than 1m.

Then I obviously don’t understand what was meant. Never mind. Let the architect solve it.

... the access to the basement stairs would be at the front, from the hallway... so in that respect, the area on the right side on the ground floor would be somewhat shorter than the stairs to the upper floor because that is where the basement stairs begin, that's what kaho thinks.

But honestly: that wouldn't bother me aesthetically and the access from the front would be much more practical.... otherwise I wouldn't have asked what would be so bad about it.

Sorry for the confusion. Just wanted to clarify that the possible glass wall of the stairs may not change or only change minimally.
