So 4K for the water softening system seems like a lot to me. The 10k for electrical could be tight. How does it look with SAT and network? We ended up with 4,000 extra and really didn’t do anything wild.

How should it look with SAT and network?

Since we agreed to probably separate all the electrical services, I urgently need to meet with an electrician. I was given the name of a partner of the general contractor, who can also be commissioned independently.....

I assume the status quo.

And LAN and SAT included in your calculation? Both can amount to a considerable sum.

It really is a beautiful house, with nice features, but somehow I don't understand what justifies the price now, especially including the flooring and painting work.

I repeat myself: the perspective distortion of the planning scales is not comparable to 1:1 at all, and from the drone perspective you will end up seeing the house only sitting on the neighbor’s chimney. The 15° variant will visually be adequate for a flat roof.

With a basement this is mostly sufficient. For S and E, or 7 Series and 5 Series, or Panamera and Cayenne.

You can also underdo it. With slips that works, only full clinker bricks would be complex for partial areas due to construction reasons.

The service description states a star-shaped distribution of telephone, TV, and LAN to every living, sleeping, or children's room. The €10,000 are for on top services. But not everything will be achievable with that. The entire lighting in the house, primarily with ceiling spots, electric shutters including smart home integration, alarm system.....

The painting and flooring work is included in the "big total" calculation.

Of course, I will also get 1-2 comparison offers as soon as the planning is final.

Then it fits...... €3,000 saved compared to a normal flat roof. I have no objection to that.

It will be interesting to see whether it still looks reasonable as it does now or whether the symbiosis house/garage is dissolved and the garage – as is usually the case – stands like a foreign body next to the house.

Completely leaving out clinker slips would be purely a cost decision. As I said, the goal now is to put the brakes on cost-wise and optimize expenses rather than increase them....

Especially since there are still uncertainties regarding electrical work, painting etc., and you can’t exhaust yourself down to the last €5,000 in planning.....
