Ohh, was the info about the A4 already available? That's already crucial...

I don't remember now. In the previous drafts, this was always taken into account very well. Of course, discussions in a forum never replace the hours-long conversations with an architect.

Therefore, bathrooms, utility rooms, etc. are indeed well placed on this side.

Just for gathering ideas. That’s how you make progress step by step.

So far it has been 4.55m. Of course, you can push the wall out until the building boundary breaks.

It’s an attempt to bring the sun into the living room, because as far as I know, it comes from the bottom right or bottom of the plan (in the evening). For me, that’s always the be-all and end-all. Without sun, everything is gloomy.
We keep on puzzling.

With a budget of 1.4 million or even more – do people still iron at all? Relatives of mine don’t have that much and have everything washed and ironed.

It can be so different. We want as little sun as possible in the living area because that's simply where watching TV happens. The aniline leather couch doesn't like sun rays very much either. So at first, we didn't want a window to the right of the couch in the last draft either. But the architect calculated, based on the angle of the sunlight, that no direct sun rays would hit that spot and land on the couch. Otherwise, we would have closed off the entire side.

We're not paying that cash out of pocket. After the project, there will be no vacations, no restaurant visits, and certainly no ironing lady.

Seriously? Why not just one size smaller and be financially much more relaxed? I don’t want to start a discussion, but if that’s really the case, I would question the immense space behind it...
