Then we have to decide whether full brick cladding or partial brick cladding. We'll play around a bit with the visualization. I think we would prefer full, because the disadvantages of the plaster naturally remain at the relevant spots even with partial cladding.

I think by then you are slowly moving away from the previous wishes, before something special in Bauhaus style, and now we are already at the hip roof and full brick cladding. I wouldn't do that.

Does a traditional brick wall still make sense today or are brick slips sufficient?

The Bauhaus style came from the architect's idea. From the beginning, we had more something like this in mind as we do now in the final phase.....

He definitely wanted to try a different approach and initially convinced us with it. All the restrictions and also the comments here about the constructive problems made us move away from it again.

We never wanted a white plaster wall.

No, seriously: a lot of water will flow before you start painting. You should adapt the interior walls to the exterior appearance (if at all), not the other way around.

We want it painted almost exactly like how we live now.... we really like that.
