Children's room and bedroom - What size is recommended?

For us, the bedroom is also chosen to be small so that the bed fits in and there is a small dressing area. The children's room, however, is larger or in a "better" location. We also only sleep inside there. Excess space can be better used elsewhere. But everyone has to decide that for themselves... We also have acquaintances who have a fairly large bedroom but watch more television there than in the living room.

With us, 2x children's rooms with 17m2 and a smaller bedroom. A controlled residential ventilation system is definitely an advantage in smaller bedrooms.

We are getting 2x children's rooms each 15m² and a bedroom for us with 13m² + dressing room with 12m²

For me, the children's rooms were always more important than the bedroom, since I don't stay there long. Our bedroom will be about 15 sqm and the children's rooms will be 20 sqm and 23 sqm each.

So now I’ll throw a few numbers without context into the room... 15m2 children's room in a 140m2 house is large, but 12m2 in a 180m2 house something doesn’t fit.
