Well, this won't work. Measurements are missing here to better assess the situation. I already guessed where the two doors lead, but that doesn't help much. The request for the floor plan resulted from the fact that the two doors take up a lot of usable space. With the floor plan, one could check whether the doors could be shifted a bit... The 3 tall cabinets probably only work to a limited extent anyway, since the middle one is narrower than the other two. One idea would be to continue the cabinet wall, also along the bay window wall without a window. The door to the pantry could then be hidden in the cabinet wall. However, this leaves not much space for the kitchen unit including the work surface, sink, and cooktop. But as mentioned, this can only be assessed with measurements...

I have a similar house in the neighborhood. So I would make the bay window square.

A complete floor plan of the ground floor would be good as well as the views of the house. Otherwise, this will not work.

Is this better or do you need the entire floor?
Unfortunately, I don't have the measurements of the kitchen at the moment. These are only drafts.

Paint the pantry, instead a tall cabinet wall and an aircraft carrier kitchen island with a counter by the bay window is the first thing that comes to mind...

But you would have to check the measurements to make sure it fits when passing by the island from the living area to the counter.
Since you are still early in the process, the walls can still be moved, which is why the note about the floor plan and the measurements—completely regardless of whether an idea like mine is even an option—makes sense.
The kitchen must be planned along with the floor plan, not afterward. Then it can really become a nice corner.

Ideally, the tall cabinet wall and thus the room has a width of 6 cabinets at 60 cm each, so 3.6 m.
That would also perfectly fit with the island (width 1.20), so that you still have 1.2 m of space on both long sides of the island.
With 5 cabinets and 3.0 m, it gets a bit tighter, but probably still possible.

The architect probably wishes for the 90s back. If then, I would prefer the suggestion from . Then move the kitchen door upwards on the plan between the tall cabinets and the island and make the windows in the bay floor-to-ceiling. Maybe even design the whole thing as a kind of "conservatory," fully glazed without walls. How should the floor plan above (upper floor) look?
