I have one more request. After much back and forth with the wrong front and so on, I finally managed today to get all the parts for the Ikea Faktum wall cabinet 70*40. Unfortunately, I now have to find that the drilling template can no longer be found. If someone could send it to me in electronic form, that would be great.

Hello!

Just discovered the thread. I have the same problem as apparently several others. I have now gotten these additional small plates from Ikea, drilling holes isn't really a problem. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to attach the hinges to the Faktum corpus. There are only 2 holes there and the hinges don't fit as long as I want to keep the shelf. Do I have to drill new holes? How do I find out exactly where? I don't have a template or anything for that... The counterpart on the door is also not quite clear to me yet, I do have a template for that, but where should I place it to drill?

Somehow totally stupid what Ikea is doing there. Selling things that don't fit together and leaving you totally stuck...

Does anyone have any other idea? Maybe can someone measure where he/she screwed something on? I think that would really help me!

Edit: Where to attach the big hinge I now understood, oh how dumb I was... It has 2 holes and then there are 2 raised spots on the hinge, that worked out great...

Take a look at the instructions for the door. Everything is described very well there.

A drilling template is included with the door. This is the template with the letters from a - d. As you have already noticed yourself, you don’t need a drilling template for the hinge itself.

Where did you put the shelf? Right at the top in the 5th hole? That obviously doesn’t work. But if the carcass is installed at a height of about 2.70 at the upper edge, a shelf that high is not really practical, unless you are particularly tall. I, at 1.73 m, already have problems reaching the very back corner of a wall cabinet with medium-height shelves.
