Rumor: Will the Ikea Faktum kitchen be replaced next year?

I really wonder why Ikea is always being attacked when it comes to extensions or goods that are supposed to be repurchased?! Where does it say that you can still buy something years later??? We are not talking about cars here. Just try to buy parts from external kitchen suppliers or the famous hardware store kitchen after just a few weeks, let alone months or years. Impossible!

Everywhere there is a call to "keep up with the times." Why not for Ikea kitchens as well?

And yes, there have already been some changes with Ikea kitchens. Aside from changes to hinges and drawers. For example, there are no longer single drawers for 50 cm cabinets and no corpus in beech anymore. The last mentioned changes date back about 10 years plus/minus.

I am currently trying to repurchase some parts for my kitchen and had to find out that I cannot get individual Faktum base cabinets with the Nexus brown-black front. I have already checked the offerings of various IKEA stores in Germany and the Netherlands and receive messages such as "This item is not part of the assortment of the IKEA store you have selected. Please choose a different store." Are these the harbingers of the discontinuation of the Faktum series?

No, that merely means that the Front Nexus Braunschwarz is currently being discontinued. If you hurry, you might still get remaining stock at your IKEA store. But it can't be said for sure.

Now I am about to order my IKEA kitchen, but unfortunately the problem has arisen that some electrical appliances according to the online information are no longer part of the range. Does this mean that they will soon be replaced by other models as part of the catalog change? And how long does it take for the new appliances to become available? Or would it be better to install other appliances (Siemens)?

if you get another device significantly reduced, that's attractive, otherwise you can't go wrong with Siemens either. best you go to your IKEA and ask what else is available or when there will be new items.
