The idea with the return policy is a very good one
I hadn't thought of that at all. So I am convinced, that's how I'll do it.
At the moment it is like this:
60 cm refrigerator
40 cm dishwasher
60 cm sink
80 cm base cabinet with 4 drawers
60 cm oven stove
20 cm pull-out
60 cm washing machine
I could do without the pull-out and make the dishwasher 60 cm instead. However, I actually like these pull-outs for oils and such.
Otherwise, my plan is to accommodate all tools and basic cutlery in the top, 8 cm drawer of the 80 cm cabinet (better stuff then goes into the dining room)
Below that another 8 cm drawer with spices lying down and maybe something that didn't fit at the top.
Below that a medium-sized drawer, about half the size, for larger tools like a grater, maybe a few small bowls to temporarily store cut food during cooking or something, and below that in the large drawer all pots and pans. I measured it, should fit.
I will definitely need at least one shelf above this cabinet, or one could just put a tall cabinet there after all, maybe a wide one that is only 40 cm high or so. Because somewhere all the easily accessible oil/larger spices or something have to go. I currently have two 45 cm wide tall cabinets fully loaded with that in my current kitchen...
