I like it so far. I didn't see the living room as a passage room at all at first, in my opinion, the door could also be omitted, as the passage width of the open corridor (kitchen) is wide enough for a main traffic area. The corridor that leads to the appliances outside, isn't that somehow "too much"? I'm curious to see if the staircase location isn't too exotic and can ruin everything.
Regards Yvonne

Me again:
Maybe consider whether the hallway leading to the storage room is even necessary.
I would include the storage room within the building envelope (hallway area roughly corresponds to the room area) and accordingly relocate the WC and cloakroom.
The storage room (for drinks, garbage, cleaning supplies, brooms, and provisions) is used during the day more than you might think, so include it in the thermal building envelope. (A utility room for bicycle and lawn mower should still be planned externally.)
If desired, an access to the living room opposite the staircase base. I think this door won’t be used anyway, as it’s easier to go through the kitchen, that is, the open hallway.
Besides, the windows on the east and south definitely wouldn’t be enough for me. There needs to be more.

Just like Yvonne, I see it the same way. Definitely more or larger windows facing southeast. Otherwise, I like it. What does the [OG] look like?

May I ask which tool you are using, and where it can be obtained, provided it is freeware? Thank you.

One possibility might be to swap the cloakroom with the entrance door to bring in more light.
You’re right. A standard kitchen would do as well. My wife found the kitchen island more comfortable with the view into the garden (to keep an eye on the children). Which layout will ultimately be chosen will be seen with the kitchen planner.

We had the version with the door opposite the stairs at the beginning. That automatically results in a smaller TV wall...
The storage room is still a problematic case. Whether it will be approved at all (strict building regulations).
In any case, we will take the suggestions and try to implement them.
