Ei ei ei ei …. now we've already arrived at the Marshall Plan and solidarity surcharge …
By the way, the Marshall Plan had the sole purpose of strengthening and promoting the American economy and had barely any effect on us in Germany, plus it was not paid for by the German public. Apparently, we pay the solidarity surcharge until eternity. Around 2000, I had a partner from Thuringia. When I first came over back then, you could see exactly where the border was: exactly where everything didn’t look shabby, streets were new, roofs freshly covered, houses renovated …. it was really amazing how much money was pumped in there, and indeed, the western regions got the short end of the stick and still do …
And to the heirs-to-be …. there’s a saying, “dying comes before inheriting,” think about that. Maybe you’re lucky and the bubble bursts before the inheritance and the house is worth nothing anymore or the esteemed testator meets a dear potential heiress in his old age who visits him often and otherwise makes his life sweet, then that’s the end of the inheritance. Or the care has to be paid for from it, then the house will be sold very quickly (rightfully so, why should the public pay for that). Discussing unlaid eggs already now, I find that a bit … well … pathetic ….
And they’re not entirely wrong that the high price does not come from hard work (especially not from the heirs-to-be who are already worrying about it) … where would the price be if Dresden had been left aside? You wouldn’t want to hang dead over the fence there …
@richyRick: so I’m open to adoption, I’m unfortunately older than you, but you never know (if the slope slides, for example).
@all: if everything goes well, I will inherit a huge lump, a really big lump, but I really find it unfair that I have to pay so much tax on it …. in the end, only 5 of the 10 Lange & Söhne are left to me and I also have to sell the SUV so I can keep the Porsche! That’s not fair that I am forced to drive only one car, that’s so unfair, the state forces me to go into debt or sell off part of my inheritance, otherwise I can’t afford it. Please sign a petition for me …..
I’d like to have your problems ….
