Defensive offer, or have house prices become so expensive?

I understand that, it really needs reform. Especially since you can enter into a contract relationship for less than €200, it's crazy how expensive it is to get out of one.
Of course, people don't marry with the intention of getting divorced, but reality is different.
And since marriage (or registered partnership) is currently the only officially recognized form of a couple relationship, maybe this hurdle of difficult divorces should be eased. It's somehow no longer appropriate for the times, even though I personally find that quite unfortunate.

Do registered partnerships still exist, or is that a recognized form of relationship that requires a less formal divorce? Is that also available for heterosexual couples?

I agree, at least if the divorce is amicable and the division of the marital property regime is undisputed, a registrar should be sufficient to dissolve the marriage.

The problem is that this form of "family support" ties up a lot of money that ultimately is missing for the support of real families. By that I don’t just mean same-sex marriage, but splitting for childless couples in general. That is a classic misallocation of funding. People claim they want to support families, but in practice they support marriage. Fifty years ago that might have been congruent, but today it definitely isn’t. This also extends into family law in non-financial matters, for example, it is incomprehensible to me why as a father I don’t automatically get shared custody with acknowledgment of paternity but have to apply for it at the youth welfare office. That is just another bureaucratic act that brings no added value. And when the offices completely shut down because of Corona, that doesn’t make things any better...

Actually, I didn’t want to write anything more here, since there is no added value.
I don’t know what happened to you, but I would be grateful if you would please stop making up completely absurd stories that correspond exactly 0 to the truth and spreading these lies about me here. You know nothing about me or my family. All of this here is fabricated and invented:

Lies, the opposite is the case.

The retirement provision has long been settled.

Taken out of context. Inflation is current and no illusion. Collapse of the euro? Hello?

You don’t even know! Nerve!

You don’t even know! Nerve!

You don’t even know! Nerve!

You don’t even know! Nerve!

You don’t even know! Nerve!

No. You don’t even know! Nerve!

Never said and already disproved.

Accusation, lie.

Lie.

Taken out of context.

It was not about "not wanting," but "not being able to." Nerve.

Lie. I no longer live there.

Lie. You don’t even know! Nerve!

You don’t even know! Nerve!

In the end, we will probably still come to the point that it was actually all paid for by you and so the house is yours. Yes, that’s how we know you Westerners.

I would like to say again that I have neither eaten small children nor killed anyone. I only pointed out that the real estate bubble leads to us not being able to pay the expected inheritance taxes without selling or mortgaging the house, since the exemption amounts have not kept pace. That was a purely factual statement.
I understand that apparently such topics cannot be discussed here without emotion and therefore I do not want to any longer. However, that is no reason to launch such a witch hunt and to defame me in this way.

That is correct. Instead of spouse splitting, better to increase the child allowance / child benefit. And I say this as someone who benefits from splitting.
