Defensive offer, or have house prices become so expensive?

It's the same for us. But apparently, cost differences vary from state to state. This probably also has to do with the fact that we are placing the house 16.5m away from the street or pavement. A building application also cost us €1,900. An energy consultant costs 50% of their fees. A construction supervisor €3,000+.

How is it with the new neighborhood? That was one of the main reasons why you are moving, right?

Good note. We’ll have to see, we have to build / fill up in such a way that we can reach the street. Apparently, the street is located at the top of the slope.

They are called DHI, come from St. Wendel.

No, ultimately mainly for the family. We live here in the north all alone, my husband + son and I. Downstairs we have some relatives. But the neighborhood is at least less than here. Only neighbors directly adjacent on one side. Next to it, forest that presumably will remain forest.

In this thread the company was discussed - whether I have already reviewed it, I did not find at first glance; the website is currently in maintenance mode.

These are then signs of use on a functional item and do not significantly reduce the value of the house. Anyone who expects a lived-in house to have no signs of use should build a new one themselves and is out. That's how it works. The price can still be maintained. Just don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You lived in the house in a traditionally dry way anyway. This benefit then balances out with the signs of use. That's how you get a Marie.

The approach proposed by the tree person is very reasonable. On the topic of the slope, you could possibly ask your family to also take photos of the neighboring buildings or at least look at them very thoroughly. With existing buildings, you can see much more clearly than on a meadow possibly still overgrown with bushes, how steep the slope really is. Why I keep stressing this: here in the area, 2m height difference in the building plot is completely normal (= harmless), we have 3m (= still okay), and even 4m is still built on (= by now it’s really critical). You should definitely know the differences, as well as the exact location of the access road.

Then it will presumably also come down to a lifting system?!
