Yes, the 2 million are definitely too high – that's the point! The house comes with a wide, long driveway right in the middle of the city. The land alone should already be close to a million. Then the house again around 800, plus outbuildings. Okay, let's say 1.7 million. But that hardly changes the fact. I don't see how you could rent out a single-family house, even in a good location in the city, for more than about 1500/month. But maybe I am not well enough connected to the market.That would be a rental yield of 0.75%. In this case, it would be absolute financial stupidity to keep the house and I would sell it as quickly as possible. But I consider that unlikely. Either the 2 million are significantly overpriced or the rent is significantly too low.
