we have a new building on a similar plot, 60+ m driveway with front house in family ownership, my thoughts on that. - Driveway north or south possible, advantage north since there is already a path, disadvantages, construction road damages it, no one can park there. - Driveway south, to be newly created with construction road, pipes interfere, family decision. Water, telecom, sewage and electricity have to be newly installed for the new house (under the driveway). We do not have gas, offer for 70m 13,000€. Sewage, new house -80cm, -70cm slope, the sewer must be at least 1.8m lower than upper floor level, even deeper if there is a basement. Construction road installation, laying sewage, electricity and empty conduits underneath was done by our civil engineer. Sewage, every 20m a manhole for hose or high-pressure cleaner. If you have more questions, feel free ;)
Lucky, I would say ;)
Here the municipal utilities and their house and yard civil engineer are digging, and
only them. They like to use any possibly prepared trench, but still bill their civil engineering services in full ;) So with the basic connection fees you are looking at 30,000+ for 70m, minus the generous discount of 750 EUR if you lay 2 media simultaneously.
In the end, as always, it is a question of warranty. If you prepare the trench and refill it yourself (or a company you hire), the municipal utilities will blame any damage on you.
I can only give a warranty on things that I or a colleague have executed from A to Z ourselves.
