you also neatly ignored the request for a satellite photo, that’s how you sabotage any help

That has less to do with sabotage of assistance than with the fact that 1. the satellite images no longer reflect the current state of the property and I do not want to explain for every commented tree how we are thinking about it now and how it actually looks, and 2. we have a veto right for all parties involved in the construction and one of them wished that no satellite images be shared out of concern for privacy (whether rightly or wrongly can be discussed now, but I am happy to respect the wishes of others).

that really takes away the desire to help.

You are right about that. Just not for every tree. For one that is supposed to remain, that belongs to the input in the first post. And of course also marked on the plan.

It will get even bigger, I would have planned to stay out of the sway zone and would never put my new house next to it. Chestnut trees get older and sicker, storms get stronger, individual branches with a diameter of 30cm+ also cause massive damage. Therefore worth mentioning in the first post.

First of all: no one here is obliged to help or comment. As for me, I am not obliged to publish details whose disclosure has been objected to by relatives. Unlike many thread starters who open a thread, receive a lot of help, and then never make themselves heard again without thanks, I try to respond to every question/answer despite having little time and thank everyone for tips, whether more or less helpful, because I appreciate your input! I can understand the anger about the slow flow of information, but I won't take that blame here because I have really given many updates and despite sometimes unnecessarily grumpy tones, I always try to remain appropriate.

The thing about the first post is a bit funny: there is no edit function and if you have followed the thread attentively, you will see that we initially only had to accommodate one house. The trees at the edge of the property were therefore pretty irrelevant at that time, the house was supposed to be right in the middle of the green meadow and that's it. That we have to take the trees into consideration only became necessary with the planning needs for two buildings and I could therefore only communicate that now – you know, when there is one thing sure about construction, it’s that nothing is sure.
