According to the contract, we are only entitled to 2 complete house designs. But to be honest, the architect has not really delivered any original designs so far...

but the contract says something like, if we stretch the limit during the draft planning, then after the 2nd draft it will be billed on an hourly basis.

I’m saying, the client and forty pages of forum discussion planned more for this house than the architect did.

Just this realization alone should be enough to wake you up. Either the architect is no good or you don’t know what you want, or overall it’s an impossible task given the square meters, budget, and floor plan wishes.

We had exactly 2 designs and didn’t have to make any compromises, except for our budget. The wife is happy and I am happy.
