That's right. And yes, that's exactly why there's the garden house [emoji4]. Thanks for the reminder. Sometimes you really lose track.

hm ... me again .. due to the privatization of the parents' bathroom, the only bathtub in the house is now only accessible through the parents' bedroom. I had in post

yes, the children’s/guest WC bathroom on the living floor with bathtub in mind.

Personally, all the showers are too tight for me as well.

The stairs to the attic probably didn’t survive either.

Otherwise, I think you have made a lot out of the floor plan and the conditions with 5 children. Plus an office, etc.

So all good

Really, the showers would be too small for you at 1sqm each?

Yes, unfortunately the stairs to the attic didn’t make it. I regret it a little too, but my husband thought it was totally unnecessary. Well. We’ll see how it finally turns out.

The floor plan change was still possible, so now we have a private bathroom [emoji7]. I’m really happy. At least a small area (bedroom and bathroom) in the whole hustle and bustle that we parents don’t have to share permanently.
There’s of course space for "bathing guests." That means if the kids want to bathe, that’s fine. But they just have to coordinate it with us beforehand. I don’t think that’s bad though.

On 14.2 we finally have the construction plan meeting with the start of construction date. We’re really looking forward to it [emoji4]

Here is the new floor plan of the bathroom. However, the bed will be placed differently... Unfortunately, there is now very little space for the washbasin, so we are considering leaving out the privacy screen to ensure that an 80 cm, or even a 100 cm basin fits in the bathroom. We don't really like that, but for our own quiet bathroom, it's a sacrifice we're willing to make.

How would you solve the problem of washbasin/privacy screen/cramped toilet? The sanitary fixtures can no longer be moved...

Then let your husband always carry the decorations and other stuff up and down. I find a proper staircase to the attic quite sensible if there are no other storage rooms. I can imagine that you already have quite a lot accumulating. Great that you have your own private area with your own bathroom. I would leave out the privacy screen.

He has already offered to do it. He is also very reliable in that. Therefore, I was persuaded that we don’t need it. We don’t have much decoration anyway that would need to be put away. Only in spring the winter jackets have to be moved to the attic. And of course, the Christmas tree decorations before and after Christmas.

One question is still on our mind at the moment: does it make sense for the indoor climate to use lime plaster or lime-cement plaster instead of gypsum plaster? Would that have an impact on the decorative plaster that is applied afterwards?
