I would plan the bathroom door as a sliding door, which then runs inside the wall on the bedroom side. This would come at most towards the bottom of the plan. That way, you could squeeze out the last few centimeters for the washbasin, etc.

It's not just decoration. When I think about the amount of clothes I regularly carry upstairs because they're too small or toys. Surely you have quite a lot waiting until the next child grows into it. Or do you sell everything and then buy new stuff when needed?

To the bathroom door ... OOPS, what is that behind the bathroom door? I had overlooked that. A pipe?

A privacy screen is for privacy! You are two... Your words: for the two of us to retreat.
Any more questions?

At the moment, we have everything from size 80 to 152. So I don’t discard anything, I just put it into the next wardrobe [emoji6]. But yes, at some point, they no longer grow so synchronously, so my husband will actually have to run more often. But that can’t be changed now... I am still storing summer clothes in boxes on the wardrobe at the moment.

We actually just don’t want to see the toilet itself while brushing our teeth [emoji23]. So the planning is obviously quite unfortunate now.

I think a sliding door is worth considering. Unfortunately, I don’t know what kind of pipe that is. However, a sliding door would also take up floor space in the bedroom, which would be a shame given the space.

Here’s another photo showing how far the furnishing planning is at the moment
