The difference between a fixed staircase and a retractable staircase is that you can use the former quickly and often, even three times a day, and you can also easily send your child upstairs. The retractable staircase has to be laboriously pulled out first; it would be a dangerous emergency staircase that also additionally obstructs the hallway. Costs: a fixed staircase is more expensive; moreover, it is not the ceiling of the upper floor that is insulated, but the roof slopes.

I think so too. The garage would then have to roughly cost the same as your around 9000 plus the approximately 7000 for our prefab garage, which we have currently been offered locally. That would be around 16000. I think that is certainly not enough even with a very very cheap mason.

Well, just a prefabricated garage alone is not a solution. What about bicycles for 7 people? Garden furniture, lawnmower, etc.? My drawn garage is not that huge, after all.
