I hope the structural engineer sends his offer as announced by the end of the week. That would be at the latest Saturday. Although it is a big company, so I assume the offer will probably come during normal business hours, which would then be either tomorrow (Friday), or else Monday.

Is an offer actually binding in any way? So if he says he charges so and so many euros for quantity X to be disposed of, does he have to stick to that price?

With us, there were some issues because the property was previously built on. Suddenly, the old leveling had to go, a ring beam had to be poured there,
the old retaining wall had to have its foundation underpinned, and what was really expensive
The offer stated driveway with amount X. For me and my husband, that meant filling and compacting the driveway so that we can drive into the garage. No, it simply meant that a thin layer of gravel would be applied, which would be 80 cm lower than the garage entrance.
The architect could have told us that too.
So the driveway still had to be filled. The advantage is that we now don’t feel pressured to pave the driveway yet. Now, first comes the terrace and so on so that the little one can safely play outside.

Well, the end of the week is now over and, of course, no one has gotten back to me again [emoji849]. I'm really getting frustrated. Such a miserable wait [emoji85]. And a crappy start with the site manager on top of that.

She assured us several times that we would have the offer by the end of the week because we had the appointment with the old earthworks contractor today. That was supposed to be canceled or kept depending on the offer from the shell builder. Neither the site manager nor the shell builder has contacted us. No call, email, mobile, mail. Nothing.
I'm already fed up with everyone [emoji85]. Maybe instead of the house, I could just put up a tent on the property?! We could even set that up on our own [emoji23].

Oh, and the stupid Ikea kitchen is now a lost cause for me too. Such shitty service. Nothing works there. Today we all drove there especially (on a rainy Saturday with all the kids, really no fun [emoji13]) and the system didn't work again, I couldn't even get into my account and the employees were completely overwhelmed.
I'm not going to buy a kitchen for 13,000 euros if I can't even get a little bit of advice. The same kitchen from Schüller was supposed to cost around 15,000 last time. I'd rather go there again.
Just a shame about all the time I spent on the PC on the Ikea kitchen.

Maybe also here: tent with camping kitchen. Done [emoji23]. The gas supplier is pretty quick. Maybe then we can connect the grill there.

What kind of account is that, if you go there in person?

The kitchen is planned (at least in our Ikea) online and then you have to log in on site to access it. I have already had the experience that I could not log in at Ikea on site. Another time, however, it worked.
