Good grief, they do exist, yes. But not for such luxury problems... I just bought a house for just under a thousand, can afford it but can't really be happy about it...
Seriously, crisis services are offered for acute crises, when something terrible has happened to you and you don't know what to do anymore....

He already knows that from the first purchase attempt. Therefore, I don’t consider it unlikely :(

Hey dude, eat a Snickers or have a beer. Most people would want your problems... Fully in life, young family, enough money, and a house construction coming up. Your wife seems to have understood it better. Stay calm in the saddle, try something new, go through the exciting time, and then ride towards retirement in your little house.

you are so right, that's probably how it would play out, that's why I'm gathering myself first, trying to get my mind off things over the weekend, tomorrow going to the movies with the family (Paw Patrol :)).

And if nothing changes, I have to take action.
And the 20,000 euros really hurt, it's about a year's worth of savings or more, we’re not swimming in money.

the account has already been closed due to the payment of ancillary costs, the building savings contract has also already been canceled so that the money will be paid out. A lot has already happened behind the scenes :(
The account was meant to build something up specifically FOR THIS case, sounds cringe i know.

@ypq probably the seeker or maybe then the RECOVERED one? without a desire for homeownership and inner satisfaction? I don't know.

Why are you so desperate?

I usually read only one reason: The SUM.

Rationally, one should reply that the sum does not matter, but rather the monthly burden in relation to income. And that looks good for you.

There is nothing that would give cause for despair, except a number on paper that somehow seems high to you.

If that is really the reason, sit down and simply calculate in monthly IN/OUT accounting, preferably as an Excel table over many years. There is not much that would give real cause for concern.

But since no one knows if that is really the reason, probably not even yourself, the help of a professional would really be appropriate. That is not a flaw, but maturity to take such a path if necessary. And in a personal crisis, you are of course allowed to call a crisis hotline - it is about the quality of your fear, not its reasons!

I have also felt a bit nostalgic when leaving an "old" home. Even when we moved from our 60 sqm prefabricated apartment to our first 130 sqm terraced house. It was indeed a nice time even in the prefabricated building, which I wanted to remember forever. Of course, life in the new own terraced house was also wonderful and finally with a garden! The old rental apartment was quickly forgotten. Occupy yourself with your new house.. sit down at the computer and set it up virtually already.. that increases the anticipation. Best regards
