Land registry costs are 1000-2000 EUR. The opportunity costs compared to the appreciation of the house when selling in 1-2 years are higher! I don’t understand where your money worries come from if your installment is as high as your rent? Or are you now paying significantly less rent than the stated 2000 EUR?

Thank you for the explanations, but unfortunately you still did not address the specific facts from and many others :( Why are you so reluctant to acknowledge the advantages of the purchase?

Ok, but with a second child that really isn't enough anymore and you want to have children. And by then it will definitely get much more expensive anyway.

In that respect, you are only preventing that you would have to pay even more once the child is there...
In my opinion, it was objectively the right decision, but the insight might not help your emotions much. Therefore, I would really recommend professional help.

From my point of view, this is also a very important argument, the planning security. Rent would unsettle me more because it is relatively unclear in which direction/height it will develop. With cooperative apartments, this problem is somewhat less, but there is often a not so optimal tenant structure in the buildings. I was a member of three cooperatives at the same time and for the latter reason refrained from using one of the cooperative apartments.

Off topic: "Pfutsch", that's a really cute word. I'm adding it to my vocabulary. Thanks for that. :)
