I can fully agree with that. I was once engaged to a man and shortly before the wedding, all the alarm bells inside me said "drop it," even though I had no rational reason. A gentleman type. My mother declared me crazy. Today, I am SO GLAD that I listened to my gut, even if it was... let's say unpleasant back then. If I had that gut feeling with a property, I would also decide based on that. So I can understand the OP very well.
Maybe it was just a gut feeling. The inner alarm bells and nothing else. Many points stayed the same, but the soft facts have changed. Not always rationally understandable, often correct and not unimportant.
