But this isn’t a manic phase for you now, is it? The depression parameters have actually remained the same… Save up more equity, wait until prices go down again, and then buy a rental property…

Maybe it was just a gut feeling. The internal alarm bells and nothing else.

Many points have remained the same, but the soft facts have changed. Not always rationally comprehensible, often correct and not unimportant

Congratulations

Congratulations! It all sounds pretty good. You only know afterward whether you did everything right anyway. So there is no need to worry about it beforehand. Enjoy the good feeling and definitely let us be part of your house with the floor plan and photos. :)

I can fully agree with that. I was once engaged to a man and shortly before the wedding, all the alarm bells inside me said "drop it," even though I had no rational reason. A gentleman type. My mother declared me crazy. Today, I am SO GLAD that I listened to my gut, even if it was... let's say unpleasant back then. If I had that gut feeling with a property, I would also decide based on that. So I can understand the OP very well.

I would really like to know how the story continued.

You can click on the OP's name, then search for his topics in the profile. There are newer topics there. As far as I can see, a house was recently purchased from a developer. :)
