Well, it’s not finally signed ;-)
The transition from daycare to school would be perfect with a move in autumn 2023 (until school starts my little one could stay in his daycare)
And the house has nothing that bothers me except for the still missing window in the bathroom :-)

Congratulations! Even if it may be hard to understand from the outside why this time there is no bad feeling about a house in the same area (you were mainly afraid of the change that the move brings), the most important thing is that you are now approaching this dream of building a house with a very good feeling and enough sleep at night and are even looking forward to the changes because it now fits better into your routine. In that sense, you did everything right and now it means (I speak from experience :) ): Don’t let the house construction stress you too much, things can ALWAYS go wrong, but most of it is no drama and should not ruin the anticipation.

A big point was to tear my little one away from his great daycare spot :( But it all solved itself :)))) He will be able to continue going to daycare until school entry after moving in and also keep meeting his daycare friends in the months leading up.

And the house can really do EVERYTHING better than the one signed for back then:

-143m2 instead of 121m2 (that even included the basement entrance area in the m2 count lol) -Really divided (no property management), old one is built according to WEG -Kitchen not in the middle on the ground floor -Better sound insulation, old house had minimum sound protection standard -Normal light wells in the basement, old house had none

It’s now a middle house, whereas the old one had a garden that wasn’t properly usable because it was sloped

I don't even want to start with the number of sockets, etc. How could I have signed such rubbish? By the way, the WEG shared houses currently cost 120,000 euros more than when I signed in September.
