It works, the house. However, you know some things but also not - you left out many questions from the questionnaire. Isn’t the staircase too short? Sorry, I can’t read the numbers. The wardrobe cabinet is only 40cm deep? Why not 60, to also hang hangers? A shared terrace without privacy would be a no-go for me… no matter how well you get along. I find the bedroom totally uncomfortable. I find the windows partially quite unplanned regarding privacy. Actually also positioned somewhat boringly. You almost don’t need to plan the attic… 3 point something of standing area and then calling it a room is somehow overrated. Which architect plans something like that as a room and also puts expensive dormers in for almost nothing?
Yeah, it looks like a school camp…The street side view, on the other hand, looks creepily bland and unimaginative to me.
That is not planned at all. Basement window covers on the terrace are basically a no-go. Especially in an architect-designed house.Addendum about the basement: Every basement room has light wells that are missing in the 3D view. Right next to the entrance door, within the terrace... that could negatively affect the appearance.
Me too. Where they could be, there are none. Planning sightlines is what distinguishes architect planning from general contractor planning. Sightlines immensely enhance a house and give the rooms and connections character, also the sense of the composition. What I’m missing most are sightlines....
I would aim for that too given the size, wishes, and construction budget.I’d rather tackle the whole house.
I would take a step back again… you won’t get the facade harmonious that way through windows or so. A recess, corner, or overbuild would be significantly helpful there. In finetuning, I definitely wanted to work out small but crucial embellishments with the architect. But it’s great in any case when I already have ideas ready.
