A lot has happened here during my absence. Exciting discussions about the EinMalEins :)

Good to know that you started with a similar benchmark here.

Uff, that is quite high compared to my calculation. Let's see how the first offers look a bit later.

Yes, lighting planning is quite a topic. In my equipment and furniture costs, I have already included a certain lighting budget.
In general, I plan to involve a capable system integrator during my planning phase who will take a closer look at KNX and lighting with me.
Additionally, I will soon hire an energy consultant.

I already have the electrical planner on board.

Maybe strange, but still understandable to me.
No, I am 22 years old and yes, I already own possessions. However, I am moving from a significantly smaller apartment and will not take all pieces of furniture with me. That’s why I consider it meaningful to make assumptions early on.

Of course, the new furniture will not be in the house and assembled on day 1. It will be a gradual process. It is already important to me that enough budget remains reserved.

Thanks for the counter calculation. Can you confirm that in the m2 calculation you are referring not to living area but to living & ancillary areas?
If it were pure living area, I would agree with you. But since we are calculating with WNFL-m2, we cannot fully accommodate our room concept within this total size.

I am curious what kind of overall offer my electrical planner will make. For him, it will be quite a large project with KNX & lighting, so there might be some small leeway – we’ll see.

Except for controlled residential ventilation, I am confident the extras will be included. When I look at the references of our architect, part of the surcharge certainly also goes into the fancy exterior design.

Alright – thanks to you!

I am very curious about the result the architect will come up with here.

I meant lighting design more in terms of the interior architectural aspect... Our architect, for example, proposed from the beginning to design the lighting in such a way that the outdoor area/terrace is included, so that in the evening you are not looking at a black pane (if you want to have the outside light on for energy reasons)... also a lot of indirect light. The KNX guy will then implement this but will not plan the lighting for us.

Understood. Thanks to you! I will address this with the architect during the planning steps.
