Aha, so I start planning my house when child 1 is about 2-3 years old. The planning should of course be well thought out so that I tear the child away from their social environment just in time for starting school. But the room layout will surely appreciate it. Really no words...

well, your sometimes complexly nested sentences and your "verbose" way of expression can occasionally lead to misunderstandings ;-) if you don't read everything thoroughly twice. I was also puzzled by the "Angry-Button" and can only explain it with my explanation above.

Interesting discussion. I am truly grateful for all your input and have learned a lot from you already in this long discussion. One thing I have learned from you is that building a house comes with many compromises and considerations. Land, zoning plan, budget, and so on.

The aforementioned topic “[früheres Haus vs. späteres Haus mit gereiften Kindern]” falls exactly into this category for me. We simply think differently here. The external circumstances for purchasing the land and the private conditions fit perfectly at the moment for the project start. Besides, it is not in our interest to wait until 40-45+ to build the house – provided it is affordable. We have the desire and energy to build here and now, so we are doing it. Children are very adaptable and can grow up in any environment. Otherwise, there would be a huge problem in many areas of this world. It is only important to me to anticipate and incorporate the most relevant needs of children in a house as well as possible without ruining our adult dream.

Then you just hire an interior designer specialized in children to redesign the kids' wing. And I mean that completely unironically, thanks to my experience with the top 1 percent.

Perhaps someone might take pity at some point and address my actual specific questions :)

100% agree. A wonderfully furnished office room today can be transformed into a breathtaking children’s room in X years.
