Hello Karsten,

somehow everything I wrote earlier is gone.

Very brief summary; we really need to reconsider the spiral staircase, even though I don't want one. But if that would be an alternative, why not.

,,Extend the guest room wall because of the staircase, remove the cut off edge. Real corner. Access to the room possibly under the stairs from the hallway." We had already had the idea with the door under the stairs, but we didn’t know how to explain that at the planning meeting. But I can’t quite imagine what you mean, I’m a bit at a loss right now.

We will definitely implement the tip with the heating circuit distributor in practice. Especially since we have the same problem in the current apartment. The distributor is located in the storage room. The storage room is immediately to the right when you enter the apartment. Thus, the storage room is always very warm and the other rooms, especially the kitchen, are rather cool.

I always associate country living with fields, rabbits, chickens, sheep and co. on the farm or the eggs from the lovely, nice farm around the corner. Also, that a Mrs. Hansen would come by with a little bottle of liqueur, we doubt, even though it would be nice. Nowadays people make appointments weeks in advance if they want to come by. But maybe that will change yet.

We had also once drawn the type of terrace, but dismissed it again because we couldn’t imagine it in practice.

Since we would like to take a look at your floor plan, but cannot find it, we would be happy if you could make it available to us. It was written that it is worth having a look at yours, and we would like to do just that.

I can’t take the second half seriously.

Best regards, Yvonne

Hello Yvonne, which second half are you referring to now?

Best regards,

And if anyone has any "creative" ideas, always bring them on What bothers us just a little is the room size of the third room. Especially if it should one day become a room for a child. Hence also the idea of expanding the attic. My boyfriend still has reservations about the size of the terrace. He thinks it is too small. Sure, it would be nice if it were bigger. However, that would take more away from the living space. And since I am writing this right now; does anyone of you have a double-leaf terrace door with a width of 180 cm? We are always used to 200cm and of course find that very nice. Someone also wrote that the bedroom has too little window area. But one could also take a double-leaf window and not set the sill height too high, right? Does anyone have such windows? We don’t really want normal windows.

Questions upon questions......

That depends on whether indigenous people still live in the specific country or only a promenade mix of city dwellers from all directions. In High German-speaking circles, hardly any chatting takes place (and the little liqueur is bought, so one is like the other). I see you now have an avatar picture. Is that the inspiring basic type (119 or 146)? Expanded clay is okay; some companies build with masonry and others with wall panels – that could explain the unusual dimensions. The questionnaire is here: The floor plan of Nordlys can be seen here: I can’t find Evolith’s right now, but it’s also worth a look – by the way, both are also in the house pictures thread: and then flip back a bit; both are from the last six months.

The second half of the quote: no one needs an additional sink next to the kitchen, even less does one need a main entrance only to be carried out feet first later, and this chamfered corner.... such a canopy with a maximum of 2 x 2 meters does not at least in the West keep what it is supposed to promise: every locked-out smoker will get wet by the house wall. A chamfer only looks nice when the whole house aligns with it, e.g. from 5 meters of wall length.
