sorry, I was still out... unfortunately, the garage is connected to another garage on the side... so that won't work either.. Thanks

In the meantime, I was able to find out that the T-shaped wall between the kitchen and the wardrobe is not load-bearing. Therefore, there would also be some leeway here.

Does that mean that the front door and even the guest WC window have to stay in place?? Regardless of whether there is a toilet or not?

For me, a large kitchen would also be much more important than a third or fourth bathroom. So here is a version without a bathroom, where all the windows and the front door remain in place. This creates a nice, spacious entrance area and a significantly larger kitchen. The stove and refrigerator, etc., would of course have to be relocated. So if it were my house, I would put the guest bathroom in the basement right next to the stairway, then it really wouldn’t be far. And every stairway extends life. You then have 3 toilets in the house, so if that’s not enough. In a small, narrow terraced house, you just have to make some compromise.

#10 showed a very good floor plan that was not addressed at all. In my opinion, no WC on the ground floor is a no go! Every visitor has to walk through the house if they need to use the toilet.

I also liked the floor plan in #10 very much, but if all the terraced houses have to look the same from the outside, this extreme change is not possible. The visitor just has to go down the stairs from the dining table and right to the WC. So it's not like walking through the whole house and into private areas... But everyone really has their own opinion, some care more about the kitchen, others about the toilet.
