We were offered the Novelan LAV 8. The cooling function is important to us. Is there a better model with cooling function and BAFA funding?

Yes, but the reason was that the LADV technically caused massive problems back then and was even temporarily unavailable for order by the manufacturer. But according to the performance data, it would be about 0.7 better in COP. That’s quite a bit but not world-changing, right? According to simple calculation, 12% more efficient...

I have one more possible explanation if I look at the consumption over the last 7 days:

Heat quantity for hot water: 35 kWh
Heat quantity for heating: 61 kWh

Electricity consumption was 31 kWh. According to simple calculation, I come to a COP of 3.2. Although, of course, there is a lot of hot water involved and this might lower the COP because the heat pump has to heat up to 50 degrees?
