Yes, I am still currently going through the settings, unfortunately I couldn’t be there during commissioning, the installer himself... I better not ask him ;-) and the IdM customer service guy already said he would happily come by again when he is nearby. Until then, it's better to have a look yourself :p I just wanted to know if that is basically normal. But it doesn’t seem to be necessarily common practice. I have already read individual values like heating activation time and minimum compressor runtime... it may be that there is a value responsible for that...

At AI/Novelan there was also a forced pause after the hot water preparation, which was fixed with a software update.

Then create a topic about your system so we can take a look at it, or Daniel if he has a system like that too.

Such a heat source, which is (largely) independent of outside temperatures, would be practical, wouldn’t it? ;-)

The required amount of heat doesn’t change, but during the day it is warmer outside, which increases the efficiency.
But I would rather raise it during the day instead of lowering it (significantly) at night.

Just now at minus 6 degrees I triggered hot water again. It ran smoothly, after 45 minutes the system was ready. I read the power consumption, it used 3 kWh ELECTRICITY to go from 38 degrees to 48 degrees. I think that would be fine.
