Underfloor heating air-water heat pump. House too warm when the sun shines

Must. Your consumption is simply (unnecessarily) too high. Even if you don't hit the optimum directly now and the system may not have been optimally planned, you can expect a significant effect. September is only the beginning, as the heating didn't have much to do yet, the majority of the operating time was probably still spent on hot water

Yes, but I have also learned to have a model that has not made a name for itself as an efficiency expert. Rather as overpriced German outdated technology for a lot of money. Well, we will see, October will be more exciting and November will bring certainty

In the pink forum, there is often discussion about whether to raise the day or not; the fact is that everyone tends to restrict at night during lockout times. This applies both to heating and hot water. I have locked out hot water at night; the buffer easily maintains the temperature until the morning hours, of course only with circulation disabled. Currently, I am moving towards 3500 kWh per year with about 250m2 heating area, which then is somewhere around 3.4 with a Buderus heat pump that does not modulate, which is a pity actually. But one must not forget it was a very, very mild winter, and I have only optimized hot water since the summer.

Even with modulating heat pumps?

Yes, even with modulating ones, I believe producing the hot water has nothing to do with the modulation, it is only there to reduce the power so as not to fill the underfloor heating at full throttle.

My question about nighttime lockout periods referred to the heating with underfloor heating; do lockout periods at night actually make sense there?
