Underfloor heating air-water heat pump. House too warm when the sun shines

Comfortably warm and 21 degrees contradict each other. But those are personal feelings.

At these temperatures, a night switch-off would probably be advisable, right? At least that's what I noticed. My heat pump started twice yesterday, once at 11 a.m. at -2 degrees, ran for about 3 hours, and then once from 11 p.m. at -6 degrees and then for 6.5 hours.

Big mess. From my point of view, unwise. Because the house doesn't seem to cool down quickly enough for it not to run around 10 a.m.

Or?

I believe there are different theories about that. I'm going to test now (though modulating) with 1 degree less setpoint at night but 1 degree more during the day. You probably won't really notice the night setback in the room temperatures, so that consideration is correct. However, your screed still cools down. So the "problem" you have the next morning is that when turning it back on, more energy is needed to reheat the screed. The question is what is more effective, and I have often read that reheating might require more energy than you save by switching off at night. Maybe try it "gradually." So only throttled? Does your pump have a night mode or something similar? Of course, the test only makes sense if you haven’t changed other settings at the same time.

That's exactly how it is, we also always have something around 19.x degrees - 21.x degrees on the upper floor.
No one shouts that they are cold on the upper floor.

... you wimps :-D

At outside temperatures, even the best insulated house cools down very quickly. Therefore, the night setback could also be counterproductive.

I have seen an option to set a nighttime setback in the heating curve. It is currently at 0; maybe I’ll try it in the coming days once I’m sure the heat pump runs cleanly with the lowered heating curve and the new flow rates.

Because today, too, I am going into the evening with the second heating cycle, and then it will be -4 degrees or colder again.
