Hello construction expert,

I’m joining in here because I have the same question as the thread creator. So far, I haven’t been able to find anything suitable on the internet,
and would therefore be grateful for the tip of the manufacturer you know.

So, many thanks in advance and best regards!

Hello Theo,

I now have a pretty good offer from a manufacturer. They simply leave an opening for the utility room door. The prefabricated garage apparently cannot be directly against the house wall for structural reasons, but about 2cm away. This gap would then be sealed at the opening with foam or other filling material.

Hello,

I had asked for a tip. I received it. Thanks to Bauexperte, DM is coming.
I thought that's what the forum is for... maybe I can be forgiven again after post 1... I promise to do better.

Best regards!

We are generally concerned with the question of whether it is better to leave a passage between the garage and the house or to attach it directly to the house. Our garage is intended to be a [Fertiggarage (aus Beton)].

How did you proceed with the plot design? Is there no design at all? Otherwise, if everything is permitted, personal taste counts: either you want a garage attached to the house because everyone has that and thus no "dead space" is created. Or you keep some distance, but it should be at least 1.80 meters wide so that a passage is created that can possibly be covered and used as an additional courtyard/garden space. It is of course practical to have a direct path from the front into the garden or vice versa.
