Delete the 10 cm, sensibly apply 20 cm everywhere. The layperson does not know what is load-bearing and what is not. And in the end, joy over the gain in space

Hello,

I assume the BayBO applies to you. Do you have to align it that way because of the street, neighbors? Otherwise, maybe rotate the long side a bit to the south.

With 12 x 9.5 external dimensions, you can plan quite generously.

Regarding the garage: on the boundary, a maximum of 8m length and 50m2 usable area. In front of the garage towards the boundary, at least 5-6m is sensible (to be able to load/unload the vehicle in front of the garage).

The hallway area is unnecessarily large due to the "corner." Why not swap the office / pantry (e.g., with frequent use, if you spend a long time there) or set up living, dining, and kitchen along the entire southwest wall. Then you also have a nice continuous load-bearing wall, which pleases the structural engineer.

The long journey of food [emoji6]
The rest has already been mentioned.... the staircase is in a very bad position to connect the floors.

Regards, Yvonne

P.S. I believe your day is just as cluttered with paper as ours - at least I’m not carrying drawing paper around with me [emoji23]

Thank you all. My sister-in-law has such a staircase and now my better half definitely wants one near the door as well.

Otherwise, thanks for the tips! However, the trash can would have to go down to the left by the street. Down there is only an unpaved access road. Just as info for my next attempt

... refers to which features of the staircase? ... it can certainly "start" there, only the landing should be placed more favorably.

Near the door with the end on the first floor around the corner...

Personally, I like staircases the most. Especially this one here:
