I haven't read everything and don't know exactly how the house is oriented, but I just wanted to quickly say what spontaneously caught my attention about the floor plan.

It could possibly get a bit dark in the cloakroom/hallway/staircase area, since light would actually only come in from the front door (if it has a glass element) or through the door to the living/dining/kitchen area (if open or with glass).
