Having a civil engineer turn your plans into the "final" plan.
I also think it's better to avoid that. When the client has little sense for dimensions and proportions, I expect a civil engineer most likely to translate an awkward design into flawless execution drawings of an awkward design. His clients will probably all be satisfied because he built "exactly their" design. The kitchen will be saved by the specialist salesperson.
I see it the same way, that it’s better to leave it alone. Where the client has little sense of dimensions and proportions, I most expect from a civil engineer that he translates a clumsy design into flawless execution drawings of a clumsy design. His clients will probably all be satisfied because he has built "exactly their" design. The kitchen is saved by the specialist salesperson.
Why should a civil engineer have no sense for something like that?
