Floor plan of a 140 m² single-family house with garage - Is the house orientation okay?

It's a pity that you have temporarily taken the drawings out again. From a conceptual point of view, I didn't find the layout that unwise, except of course for the cardinal directions with living in the north and so on. By the way, the garage seemed very narrow to me (probably only two and a half meters). And I liked the "unprofessional" drawing program; in the sketch phase, in my opinion, it is completely sufficient.

Hello everyone,
I’m already getting back to you. I did some research and downloaded the RoomSketcher program.
Basically, I kept the old floor plan, but the bay window has now been moved to the front of the house, and the kitchen and utility room are now located there.

The garage has now moved to the right side in the north (dimensions 9 x 3) and the living-dining room to the south.

What seems problematic to me so far is the missing window in the hallway.
I’m looking forward to your comments.

You squeeze a room layout into the ground floor and there is plenty of space left upstairs. I find that suboptimal. Why don't you distribute the rooms generously throughout the whole house? By the way, the stairs are too short. Please draw in the furniture.

The lines in the attic are probably meant to be the 2m contour line?

The garage still seems to me to have only 2.5 m of interior width. Is it meant to hold only bicycles up to maximum quads? - it already gets uncomfortably tight with a Smart or Aygo.

the staircase is 3.25 meters, 3.5 is probably more realistic?! We would like to sleep on the ground floor and also not do without a dressing room. Which rooms could be moved upstairs otherwise? The utility room is actually the only one that comes to mind.

the 2 m line is not that, I’m not sure how to calculate from where 2m height is reached. The roof pitch should be 40 degrees. The lines are only meant to symbolize the direction of the ridge. The garage should have an interior width of 3m, it is actually only 2.5 m on the sketch, I was mistaken there

Sorry, in case it has already been said, but do you have to build 2 floors? The upper rooms all seem unnecessary to me. How about a bungalow?
