the arrangement of the rooms also has a lot to do with it—especially on the ground floor—that the garage with side entrance is on the right side

Again, personal preference: to me, a direct entrance from the garage into the house would be far less important than giving up a south-facing kitchen for it

Would move the door to the garage a little bit so that it is aligned with the utility room door. It is more practical if the wall has its full width of 75cm.
