Yes, the bedroom fits in there (or also in the bathroom). That should give you some food for thought.

It can’t look better than a tent roof, because it is a tent roof. So technically yes, it’s a classic hip roof, but visually it’s a tent roof (for vegans). Neither fish nor tofu.

And I dare to claim that something is wrong with digitalization when what looks functional there obviously fails analogously.

Even a civil engineer won't exactly iron out a self-created floor plan.

180 sqm and then something like this. Either you take an architect or a general contractor with a good planner.

We were in a similar position to you at the beginning. We made a "rough plan" and a civil engineer was supposed to improve it. What came out was anything but what we wished for.

After that, we went to an architect and I do not regret this step in the slightest.

Unfortunately true, because: approval eligibility is not hindered by awkward room layouts. In this sense, the design is already "finished" (and unfortunately also looks like that to laypeople when professionally drafted). An engineer makes it purely technically buildable, an architect also lectures the client.

How do you come to this generalizing statement? Basically, I agree with you, but not every structural engineer is the same, just as not every architect "convinces you otherwise."

However, we have meanwhile also distanced ourselves from the mentioned structural engineer and will probably go to a planner specialized in single-family houses. Alternatively, I still have a construction company with a planning department up my sleeve, but then I would also have to build the shell construction with them.
