Not if the house moves closer and not if the garage gets bigger. Or I don’t understand you.

The fear of the neighbor seems to be turning into a phobia. Did he do something to you? Do you even know him?
I would much rather be upset about having to build closer to the street, where the traffic noise will annoy me all day long.

10 cm +/- more won’t ruin the entire look right away. But with your windows, I would want bigger ones anyway. For that, we’d first need the elevations. Or did I miss them?

Place the house next to the garage -> lost 80 cm to the east
Place the garage next to the house -> lost 80 cm to the west
Make the garage bigger -> we have to inquire

No, only the building authority warned about it and infected my husband with it..

I would have views here, but from the last plan

They are not lost at all?! They are widening the 3m boundary to 3.80m and are freely accessible. So instead of 6 rows of strawberry beds, you can plant 8 rows. That is not nothing.

The views are a joke, if you ask me. It soon looks like Hundertwasser, without wanting to offend him. And the small windows remind me of loopholes. This is what a townhouse looks like today – at least what you are probably planning:

...without wanting to award a special beauty prize here.

Maybe the architect still has a creative color-material ace up his sleeve that is not coming across here. But so far it looks very dull and haphazard.

Without meaning to step on your toes, Katja: These examples with pointless huge windows are exactly not what many want. What use are floor-to-ceiling windows to me if I block them with a couch? Just because they look "nice" from the outside (and even that is in the eye of the beholder)?

Where desired, nice big windows: I think that's good. And when I look at the state of our planning, there definitely aren’t floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Therefore, I consider the elevations quite acceptable (although the symmetry leaves something to be desired). The driver for the windows is the room sizes or what is supposed to be inside. If anything, the placement can still be optimized.

Doesn't the fence also have to be on the building boundary? Or is it allowed to be crossed up to the sidewalk?

We are not satisfied with it either. I am thinking about improving it a bit with paint.

Oh yes, you hit exactly my taste, I would also like to build like that if we could afford it.

At first, I was totally 'obsessed' and wanted floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. After furnishing the rooms (and of course also because of the prices), we ultimately decided to have floor-to-ceiling windows only in the children's rooms so they can look out into the garden. And of course large window areas at the terrace.

That won’t stay that way
