If the windows are already there, then it’s no longer possible to rearrange cheaply. If I were you, I would really look at how the house looks finished and then possibly work with paint or cladding. It doesn’t matter at all that you sometimes struggle with things about the house in between, I feel the same way. But in the end, you have made certain considerations and things have turned out the way they did for certain reasons.

So in the Berlin paragraph specified by , the openings are explicitly mentioned as well. Although "procedure-free" also doesn't mean that you can just do whatever you want. So you have to notify the change, but theoretically you don't have to wait for approval, but then do you want to dismantle it if it later turns out that the change is not allowed?

In your case, it only mentions windows and in particular refers to the design. So, strictly interpreted, you can of course replace your windows with white frames with ones with light gray frames, but in my opinion it does not imply that you can simply make the windows bigger or install new windows that were not there before. Noted that it still might be allowed, but in my opinion, and based on how I know German regulations, this does not emerge from the quotation.

When in doubt, ask a specialist...

I knew you had already started a thread before, but that was about the "bad floor plan," which actually wasn't that bad. I would also initially be in favor of the visual version, especially if you could only make changes after acceptance anyway. Just wait and see how the whole thing looks in reality. Try to relax, even if it's difficult. Your house is not a complete botch.

exactly the issue with the floor plan was also my topic. Through the thread, we also came to place the garage differently and have two windows opened on the right. According to building regulations, we are allowed to set the garage forward so that 5m remains to the street. I just got a call from the developer that they would order the windows for me. They don't want to install them but ordering them is already a step. At first, they didn't want to do anything, after a month of pressure they are slowly accommodating. Before the window order now, I would wait for a few more posts, maybe one or another suggestion will still come.

would you put the upper floor-to-ceiling one below into the office? Why never floor-to-ceiling again, do you have bad experiences?
