I like the upper floor better this way.

We also have a 3-meter lift-and-slide door. The frame is quite massive compared to the normal 2-leaf door with 2.2 meters.

Can you also change direction with a baking tray in the hall?

A closet room is what the Americans have: a 1.60 x 1.60 m room uses less square meters and holds just as many clothes, but much more comfortably for the resident.

By the way, we are now on page 35, the problems have been mentioned several times already... when you build the ducts, you will think of us every day

3 m (+/- 0.5 m) is a practical size for lift-and-slide doors, and still "too small" (not worthwhile) for folding sliding doors.

what are the dimensions of the walk-in closet in your design? It should be about 2.20 m wide, which probably won't work given the size of the bedroom. I'm already having trouble fitting the bed in.

I know that the walk-in closet in my floor plans is like a corridor. Expanding it will be difficult, I admit. But I’m not there yet. I’m still working on the ground floor, especially the kitchen. We don’t like a fully open kitchen like yours, kaho. The missing wall would be perfect for a dresser in the hallway, provided that’s possible with the platform staircase.

We will talk to the general contractor about the parapet height. Light wells should be included. Also a light courtyard. But yes, a parapet height of 1.00 m seems set too low to me. Thanks for the hint.

Edit: Friends have 2x 3.50 m lift-and-tilt-sliding doors, they are gigantic, also in height. They have never had problems with them so far.

If you open it, you can also use the hallway, otherwise it is a lot of space for nothing.

Kaho has actually drawn a proper bed in the bedroom. The floor plan should work.
