Without meaning to step on your toes, Katja: These examples with nonsensical huge windows are exactly not what many want. What's the use of floor-to-ceiling windows if I block them with a couch? Just because they seem "nice" from the outside (and that itself is in the eye of the beholder)?

Well, it always depends (in my opinion), for example, if all the windows in the living area are floor-to-ceiling and one is not because a sofa is placed there, it simply looks strange from the outside if one window is not floor-to-ceiling, especially if it's on the side... maybe then a discreet curtain that is light-permeable?

The topic of windows is really giving me a headache.... if I base it on the room design, the outside view looks ugly. If I base it solely on the appearance and symmetry, the windows do not fit the respective rooms. :-(

I believe you.... but that's not your job, it's the job of the general contractor architect.

Yes, that's true, I hope the new plans will turn out a bit better...

A different point - why should I care about how the house looks from the outside? How often do I stand in front of the house and think it looks good, and how often am I inside the house and need to look outside and place the furnishings sensibly? Am I building the house for the neighbors to look at or for myself to live in?

South view with entrance, you mean north view, right? Do you have any suggestions for improvement? Don’t fit double-wing windows with the city villa?

You can arrange the children's room windows nicely symmetrically, I see no reason to accept such a bad exterior view. In the living room, you can shift the sliding window so far that it aligns with the middle rail of the upper window. Your guest WC window is very small, as are the windows in the corner of the living room.
