151 wide is too heavy for single-leaf, so two-leaf is already recommended here. The width hardly justifies an asymmetrical division, so I would split it symmetrically. The emergency window would have to be done with a mullion, but I would handle the other windows the same way. With a post is slightly cheaper and takes away more glass width
What is an emergency window? Mullion? If the floor-to-ceiling windows are meant, they are fixed glazed at the bottom and only the upper part can be opened.
As a passage with trash bin or lawn mower it's a matter of taste
No, for that we have the 3 m on the east side
Of course, it also depends on the quantity.
Quantity of windows see #1
I’d rather make the garage wider and enjoy more space inside.
That would of course be great if it didn’t cost anything I think 6.80 m is a special dimension....
Room height would be far too low for me, I wouldn’t plan a finished room height under 2.60m (better 2.70m).
We currently have 2.60m from the plastered ceiling to the floor, which I find quite generous. My old childhood room was 2.45m and the ceiling height never felt "confining" to me. Although it was only 18 sqm. With 52 sqm open space on the ground floor I can’t judge that....
If it’s about symmetrical two-leaf patio doors, I would recommend 226 or 251, 176 would be okay for asymmetrical two-leaf patio doors, but where it’s about French balconies, 151 cm symmetrical is sufficient.
We are getting two lift-and-slide doors with 3 (w) * 2.26 (h) as patio access. What is meant by symmetrical and asymmetrical with windows??
