I am missing a few more dimensions for estimating the rooms. And it is always useful to include it in the site plan. I know the rule garage on the boundary or at least 3 m distance to the next property. In any case, you still need cloakroom space.

If you arrange the entrance at the front, corresponding to [WC], storage, and wardrobe, there is hardly any space left for a direct passage from the garage to the house. I would reconsider the black or anthracite-colored stripes.

Hello everyone,

thank you for your feedback!

We now actually have reasonable plans that we are currently refining with our architect. We have incorporated your suggestions/feedback.

I would be happy if you could also take a look at the current plans. That would certainly help us a lot. We now have a goal, but we are still inspired by your feedback!

Thank you!

Best regards
Björn

Every time someone goes to shower, you hear it!

Generous layout .. and I see the shower less as an issue, but I would rotate the toilet in the upstairs bathroom by 90°. And choose the east window facing the street in the study with a lower sill.

If the kitchen is not supposed to be as drawn, then I would plan it now and possibly also add a patio door to the south-facing window.

And check whether the fireplace should really be placed like that. I could also imagine it in the lower right corner of the living room. View from the sofa possible and heat source not too close to the dining table.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I will keep the topic of the shower in mind.
Our architect has planned a "Schamwand" in front of the toilet. We didn't think the idea was so bad. However, the idea still needs to mature.
We will adapt the window in the office. That is really a good idea.
In our first draft, there was an exit to the terrace through the kitchen. My wife currently prefers a U-shaped kitchen. But that is not fixed yet.
I will pass on your comment about the fireplace to our architect.

I still have a few questions.

At the moment, we have planned with a roof pitch of 30° and 38°, but we still have the option to change the pitch. Everything between 20° and 45° is possible (according to the development plan). From your point of view, does it make sense to change the roof pitch, for example, to 25° and 33° to increase the knee wall height? Technically, that is not a problem. Does the appearance of the building suffer because of it? When I walk through the new development areas, I often see relatively flat roofs.

The clear room height on the ground floor/upper floor is 2.51 m. In the basement, 2.39 m. Is that sufficient? We have planned an office and a hobby room in the basement.

Do you also have an opinion on skylights? I am not quite sure if the rooms upstairs will be bright enough. On the other hand, the windows are already 1.53 m wide.

Thank you very much for your answers!
