The bathroom had to give way for the cabinets.
It has to come from somewhere.

On the ground floor then maybe rather something like this:

A dresser in the hallway doesn’t come out of that - but there are small shelves in the kitchen instead.

I think you once said that the slope in the construction area could be neglected. What exactly are we talking about there?
I would take a good, close look at this whole height issue if I were you. You can see which options remain for the expensive huge basement (we’ll have to check that completely again). It can’t hurt to also have the soil survey on hand and see how well your soil soaks away.

However, with plastic you do reach the limit there, even in white.

thanks for the great floor plan! I spoke with the contractor, he said we will get the plans WITH the changes (stairs, windows) today. I'm curious about that. I will then incorporate the points mentioned here and my scribbles there and post them here.

And thanks for the note regarding [Bodengutachten] and heights. We will definitely address that!

.. and, are the new plans ready or has the contract been awarded to start again based on Kahos plans?

My husband does not like kahos plans. So it remains only with the changes to the guest WC/wardrobe and windows. To be able to realize the landing staircase, the doors of Child 2 and the bedroom had to be moved slightly backwards. We are now waiting for the (hopefully) final plans. But another problem is bothering me...the chimney. I think it is in a very unfavorable position, especially the location at Child 2 does not please me. Alternatively, the chimney or fireplace in the ground floor could be placed on the left next to the lift-slide door, that is on the exterior wall. Then it would be in the corner (exterior wall) by Child 1 in the upper floor. Do you have to maintain clearance distances from furniture and curtains?
